Description: After the Ice Storm by Carlo Cosentino is executed in a neo-realism style typical of the artist. This work shows the snow which covers the rooftops of Saint-Henri, including two churches. The scene can be grabbed from the highway 20 leading to downtown Montreal. The palette is in soft tones, using browns and greys for the bricks and stones of the buildings and light green for the churches' bell towers. The white grey sky is reminiscent of the heavy atmosphere which follows an ice snow storm.
