Effectively, we have had a great success with the retrospective-exhibition of work by Canadian modern master and co-founder of Plasticiens Group, Fernand Toupin, R.C.A. (1930-2009). The exhibition was displaying more than fifty pieces borrowed for the occasion from different museums and private collections. It was well acclaimed by collectors of Toupin's work and by new collectors and investors as well.
From May 4 to 25, 2011 the «Fernand Toupin – retrospective exhibition from 1952 to 2001» will take place at our Old Montreal gallery. Together with Louis Belzile, Jean-Paul Jérôme and Jauran, Fernand Toupin founded the Plasticiens’ Manifesto in 1955.
