Description: Nutrisco & Estinguo by Chantal Lavoie is an expressionist figurative contemporary work. It depicts two people facing each other with their full body extended with energetic movements, like in a passionate dance. In the low background, a urban landscape defines the far horizon. The painting in executed with mixed media typical of the artist's latest works and depicts bodies sketched in a pure classical way on white canvas. Some long drips of acrylic paint cross the whole work from top to bottom and accentuate the bodies position rendered in semi-abstract landscapes. The work is executed in a palette of ochre, red and white.
