It depicts a striking still life with a set of blue and white porcelain type dish containing some pears and an orange. A pitcher of sangria is placed at the back of a bright red cloth dressed table. The background and the special light suggest an exterior setting. The whole painting is executed using multiple big brush strokes in a luscious palette of orange, red, green, blue and white.
