Gisèle L'Épicier was born in Joliette, Québec. She graduated in Fine Arts from Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and did additional studies at the Saidye Bronfman Centre in Montréal and at the University of Sherbrooke, Québec. Gisèle L'Épicier has been painting about poetry through movement and emotions for more than twenty years. Usually, there is no sketch on the canvas prior to painting. She creates a limitless world of her own with her characteristically natural and free brush strokes. Her bistro scenes with or without musicians, her bouquets of flowers, her nudes - male and female - are particularly appreciated. We are proud to say that Mrs. L'Épicier's work pleases collectors from around the globe: Asia, Europe, North America, South America and Canada. Gisèle L'Épicier was an International Finalist 2003 at the "First Annual On-line Art Competition: Figuratively Speaking" from the Atelier Robert Coane, New-York, NY, USA.
