"As an oil painter my work begins with a thought, an imagination, a dream.
Becoming a compilation of colourful visions.
I am an artist that dreams filling my consciousness with conceptions and inspirations set in motion by colours.
Painting with mindfully chosen colors I look to a palette that refreshes and heals, that nurtures and inspires.
Blue is meditation and relaxation. Green is balancing, it is the colour of hope. Yellow embodies enlightenment. Pink, is the love of self and orange is the colour of happiness. These particular colours, I truly love.
Imagination can be so colourful and energetic, I know this to be true because even in dreams, I dream in colors!"
Since 1991, Jae Dougall has exhibited in Canada, the USA, and Asia.
